When a depositor wishes to withdraw money he/she must present his/her book personally by his/her authorized agent at the officer of the Bank with the withdrawal form, which can be obtained free of charge sioned by the depositor of his/her authorized agent duly countersigned by the depositor and showing the balance at his/her credit and the amount which he/her wishes to withdraw.
A depositor may ordinary withdraw money from the account only twice in each of the periods from 1st of 10th, 11th to 20the, 21st to the end of the month. But he/she may not withdraw a fraction of a rupee unless it is to close the account which he/she may withdraw the whole balance as his/her credit with up-to-date interest as per Rule-2
In case of withdrawals exceeding to Rs. 100.000/- (Rupees One Lakh) by ordinarily a clear day’s notice in written to the Bank in necessary. If a depositor fails to take payment after giving the notice, the depositor losses interest on that amount for that month.
Depositor should carefully examine the pass book immediately after every entry and before leaving the bank. Unless a depositor notific-s the Bank immediately of any discrepancy found in the account it shall be taken that the account is correct.
The depositor is responsible to keep the pass book in safe custody. The Bank shall not accept responsibility for any loss caused to a depositor if through his/her negligence any person obtains the payment of any sum belonging to the depositor by possessing the book fraudulently.
The Bank reserves to itself the right to refuse and close any account without assigning any reason thereof.
The Bank reserves to itself the right or delete. add to or alter these rules at any time without giving a specific and separate notice to every account of the change in the rules pasted in the notice board in the bank of given in the Press will be considered as sufficient notice.
